Dylan is a true professional with a customer service friendly attitude. Dylan and his team did an outstanding job rebuilding my very long culvert running down my driveway. Arriving early each day and working without taking any breaks, not even for lunch his team completed the job a day early. We had T & D Excavating do the excavation for preparation of the pouring of footings and a foundation for our garage in Madison. Approximately 7 stumps and 45 loads of fill had to be removed from the site that had been created in the process of digging for the foundation. Due to water issues that filled the foundation they also created a drainage system which remedied the water issues. Additionally they reset the grade of our upper driveway, taking a a tree down and removing the stump, in addition to resetting the topsoil area. There are plans for T & D to return and do the site work for a foundation for an addition in the near future and we look forward to having them do that work as well. We recently added on to our home and needed a lot of excavation work done. This work initially started out as digging for a new foundation. Dylan and his team ran into many obstacles along the way which included extremely large boulders being in the way. These guys worked extremely hard trying to break these boulders up to get them out of the way. I was so impressed with they professionalism though out this process. Their determination payed off as they worked through these obstacles. We continued to use them throughout the different phases of our projects and were always satisfied with their work. I reached out to T&D Excavating after seeing their lawn signs everywhere, and I’m so glad I did. Dylan came by the next day to assess my project, taking the time to walk around and explain what needed to be done. Two days later, I received a reasonable and honest quote. The job started bright and early at 6:30 AM on the designated day. Dylan arrived with his crew, including his dad, Tyrone (the 'T' of T&D). They went over the entire project with me and the crew to ensure everyone was on the same page. The project involved digging a trench to locate an existing well water line for extension and relocating the well pump electrical line. I can't overemphasize the care and expertise the whole team showed. Tyrone’s skill with the bucket was impressive, while Dylan and Garrett were right there helping out with shovels and keeping everything on track. The next day, the well contractor arrived and was visibly impressed with the work T&D had done, especially given the sandy soil conditions. They specifically praised the nicely angled ditch that was safe, wide, and deep enough to work in comfortably. When the well team suggested relocating the ditch for the electrical line, I called Dylan, who quickly sent Tyrone and Garrett back to dig a new trench. They even filled in the previous ditch to ensure the site remained safe and accessible. After the well plumbing was completed, T&D returned to fill in the trenches, carefully placing clean sand around the well pipes before covering everything. They regraded the area, added topsoil, seeded new grass, and covered it with hay to protect the seeds. Everything looks wonderful, and I’m excited to see the new grass come in before winter.
